Applicants who have already completed Grade 12 and meet the minimum admission requirements will receive conditional offers. However, as the university emphasises:
“Be reminded that registration is and will always be on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited to the quota set per programme. Therefore, the acceptance of an offer does not automatically guarantee registration.”
This means that students must act quickly once they receive an offer to ensure they secure their place in the programme of their choice.

If an applicant qualifies for both the Mainstream and Extended Diploma based on their matric results, the university recommends selecting the Mainstream programme as the first choice. Application Fee Details for the 2026 Academic Year
A non-refundable application fee of R110 is required for all applicants—whether applying locally or internationally. The fee is mandatory and must be paid each academic year in which an application is made. As the Registrar explains:
“The application handling/administration fee is required on an annual basis as the payment is done for each academic year in which an application is made.”
