Lil Wayne is set to headline Madison Square Garden for the first time on Friday, June 6, 2025, coinciding with the release of his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter VI. The concert, titled Tha Carter VI Live, will feature debut performances of tracks from the new album, marking a significant milestone in the rapper’s illustrious career.
A Monumental Return to the ‘Carter’ Series
Tha Carter VI is the sixth installment in Lil Wayne’s renowned Tha Carter series, following the 2018 release of Tha Carter V. This new album also serves as the follow-up to his 2020 project, Funeral. The series, which began in 2004, has been pivotal in establishing Lil Wayne as a formidable force in the hip-hop industry. 
Star-Studded Collaborations and Production
The upcoming album boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Wyclef Jean, Andrea Bocelli, Miley Cyrus, Elephant Man, Machine Gun Kelly, Bono, and Kanye West. Notably, Lil Wayne’s son, Kameron Carter, is also featured on the album. Production credits include industry heavyweights such as Kanye West, Wheezy, and Wyclef Jean, promising a diverse and dynamic soundscape.  
Anticipation and Pre-Release Promotions
In the lead-up to the album’s release, Lil Wayne has engaged fans through various promotional activities. Notably, he hinted at the release date in a Cetaphil commercial aired during Super Bowl LIX, where the numbers “6-6-25” were prominently displayed, sparking widespread speculation among fans. 
Concert Details and Ticket Information
The Tha Carter VI Live concert at Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 8:00 PM on June 6, 2025. Tickets are available through official channels, including Ticketmaster. Attendees are advised to arrive early and adhere to venue policies regarding bag sizes and prohibited items.
