Durban – Newly appointed king of the Zulu nation, Prince Misuzulu kaZwelithini, has sent a royal delegation to pay lobola for his chosen sweetheart, Ntokozo Mayisela, on Thursday.
“They have demanded eight cows and R50 000 in cash and we happily obliged,” said a royal source.
This follows their official registration of their marriage with Home Affairs, on last week Thursday.
A royal delegation is expected to be at the northern part of KwaZulu Natal, in Newcastle later today to visit the family of Masiyela.
According to a royal source, “As I am speaking to you right now we are inside the farm selecting the best cows to present them to the Mayisela farm at 4pm today. We will not sleep over, instead, we will present our cows and come back.”
It is reported that Mayisela who is 36, has two children with the new king. While the king has at least two other children with other women.
At the time of publishing this story, we couldn’t get a response from the king’s and Zulu’s nation traditional prime minister, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
This is a developing story.
