By Thys Khiba – The Youth Business Chamber (YBC) Executive Chairperson Michael Mayalo announced that he is ready to publish and launch his first book about the positive side of China in June 2023.

This comes after Mayalo spent time in furthering his studies in the People’s Republic of China.

“I am currently writing my first book and I can’t wait to share it to the world. I will be announcing the launch date and will be traveling different parts of the world to spread the book because I feel everyone deserves to know the truth about China and not the propaganda that has been spread out, the real China-There is beauty in every Pagoda,” said Mayalo.

The 26-year-old started his journey as a creative and uncensoredwriter by writing opinion pieces and articles as a way to express his concerns and frustrations to the South African government.

His studies in China included Research – Global Governance and International Relations.

Mayalo holds a Diploma in Psychology in Education and foreign language studies.

Following the success of Mayalo whom received overwhelming public support, it is evident that age does not resist one from living out their dreams and serving the basic needs of their constituency.

“My Study in China made me discover my passion in serving young people of South Africa and unconditional love for communism. I started getting creative ideas by just putting pen to paper,” said Mayalo.

In his famous article, “China is a peace loving Country” he received recognition from international publishing companies and young readers from all over the world.

In his article, Mayalo talked about his arrival, quarantine and hospitality received in China, which covered his daily experience and activities in the different places he had visited.

Michael spent most of his tertiary level period visiting different towns and villages within China as part of his practical studies and seeing the reality of the real China.

At the end, Mayalo had a different perspective about what some media houses reports about China.

He also believes that  China is an emerging world leader, however, growth has come in the context of stable communist rule, suggesting that democracy and growth are not inevitably mutually dependent.

It is alleged that many Chinese believes that the country’s recent economic achievements—large-scale poverty reduction, huge infrastructure investment, and development as a world-class tech innovator—have come about because of, not despite, China’s authoritarian form of government.
