President Cyril Ramaphosa has decided to suspend Judge President Mandlakayise John Hlophe from his duties pending a decision of the National Assembly.

Former Western Cape Judge President, Dr. John Hlophe has confirmed that he had a discussion with President Jacob Zuma and is set to be sworn in on Tuesday to head the MK Party in Parliament.

Hlophe made this announcement while delivering the keynote address at the inauguration of the African Legal Professionals Association, held at the Blue Waters Hotel in Durban on Saturday.
