ANC Lejweleputswa Region
In an exclusive interview with Central News, ANC Lejweleputswa Regional Chairperson Xolile Toki has made a groundbreaking announcement regarding the names of 20 expelled members who recently joined Ace Magashule’s new political party, the African Congress for Transformation.
Among these individuals are former mayors, MMCs (Members of Mayoral Committees), speakers, deputy regional chairpersons, and the former regional secretary Masentle.
During the interview, Toki expressed his disappointment at the actions of these expelled members, deeming them ungrateful for everything that the ANC has done on their behalf. He further highlighted that the party had made extensive efforts to engage with these individuals before taking the step of expulsion. Toki made it clear that the disciplinary process was not seen by the ANC as punitive but rather as a corrective measure.
“We have attempted to correct these comrades through political programs and various other interventions,” Toki stated, shedding light on the party’s attempts to salvage the relationship with these individuals.
