On behalf of the CYPFSA, I would hereby like to congratulate President Emmerson Mnangagwa on his election as President of Zimbabwe and on the election victory of ZANU—PF who was in the days of Apartheid a staunch supporter of the ANC.
I also take this opportunity to convey our support for the people of Zimbabwe for expressing their democratic wishes in once again giving their support to ZANU-PF .
As CYPSA we reaffirm our unwavered support to the people of Zimbabwe for electing a leader who supported freedom and justice not only for the people of Zimbabwe but also the oppressed people of South Africa.
What happens to the people in Zimbabwe affects us in South Africa as their hardship is our hardship their joy is our joy and their victory is our victory and thus we encourage President Mnagangwa to pursue the ideals of ZANU-PF as well as the path as set out by the African Union to pursue a path of real and sustained economic growth and resistance from the forces of international capital who wants to set back the democratic gains of the people of Zimbabwe.
We salute you President Mnagangwa for your vision and commitment to the people of Zimbabwe and as the CYPSA be assured you can count on our absolute support for your task ahead.
We the CYPSA view the sustained support of the people of Zimbabwe for ZANU-PF as an extraordinary political achievement and confidence the people have in the liberation party. It is a an important step on the road to BRICS membership and the appointment of two vice-presidents sets an example of reconciliation for others in the SADC region and beyond.
CYPSA thus offers you our most choicest of wishes for a successful term as President of Zimbabwe and a leader in SADC.
We look forward to seeing you strengthen our friendship with the ZANU-PF Youth and to advance our common objective of building a united and prosperous revolutionary youth for both countries.
