Following weeks of speculation, the worst kept secret in the South African football transfer market has finally been put to bed.
Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the signing of marquee signing Keagan Dolly on a free transfer from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier.
His move follows the completion of his medical on Tuesday morning in Naturena and it is reported that Kaizer Chiefs staved off interest from North Africa as well as France, convincing the 28-year old free agent to put pen to paper on a 3-year contract putting an end to his four-year stay with La Paillade
Kaizer Chiefs management have also confirmed that Keagan Dolly will don the infamous Black and Gold #10 jersey, worn previously by Siphelele Ntshangase who has since left the Phefeni side.
The former Ajax Cape Town player joins a cohort of players who have previously played for both The Brazilians as well as AmaKhosi but fans will be most excited to see the reunion of an attacking trio nicknamed the CBD,which featured Leonardo Castro,Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly, that caused problems for PSL defences.
With the statement signing of Keagan Dolly,Kaizer Chiefs have made their intentions clear as they look to overhaul their squad in their quest to reclaiming the glory.
