State Security Minister Dlodlo believes that Gauteng and KZN looting are properly organised and orchestrated

Johannesburg –The Minister of State Security, Ayanda Dlodlo believes that the looting taking in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal is properly organised and orchestrated.

“I do believe this is properly organised and properly orchestrated. But as you would know having followed such around the world, even if something is organised whether it is organised from a criminal perspective, a political perspective or a socioeconomic perspective for that matter, there are other forces that take over,” said Dlodlo.

This is after the country’s intelligence has been criticised for been caught off guard by these latest looting press.

In her interview with the 702 Mandy Wiener, Dlodlo confirmed that when the Constitution Court gave itsruling, they knew something will happen.

Dlodlo confirmed that the security forces have been at it since things started to show that the country might be going into an untenable situation.

Meanwhile,at least 1 200 people have been arrested in connection with the unrest across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal by Tuesday.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed that they will oppose bail for the more than 1 200 people arrested for public violence and economic sabotage.
