Sisisi Tolashe Elected President of ANCWL

Sisisi Tolashe emerged victorious in a closely contested election for the presidency of the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL).

Defeating former league President Bathabile Dlamini and Thembeka Mchunu, Tolashe’s election was officially declared by the Electoral Committee on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

In a bid to foster unity and collective leadership,  Lungi Gcabashe elected as the Deputy President. Demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity, Nokuthula Nqaba was elected as the Secretary General, Dina Pule elected Deputy Secretary General, and Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae elected Treasurer General .
