The club wasted no time in securing Seema to fill the vacant Head Coach position, with upcoming challenging fixtures in November and December including both League and CAF Confederation Cup matches. The club’s swift action in appointing Seema shows their commitment to maintaining stability and ascending to new heights.

Expressing his gratitude, Seema said, “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Chairman, Mr. Simon Malatji, for entrusting me with the responsibility to lead the team. I appreciate how the negotiations were carried out in a respectful and transparent manner. With a lot ahead of us, I am ready to hit the ground running.”

Seema brings a wealth of experience to Sekhukhune United, having started his coaching career at the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic in 2016, where he worked alongside John Maduka as co-coaches. Prior to coaching, Seema had a successful playing career, captaining ‘Siwelele’ for the majority of his eight-year spell at the club.

Caretaker coach McDonald Makhubedu will return to his previous position as assistant coach, while Nascent Nkwashu will serve as the Goalkeeper Coach.

The club, affectionately known as ‘Babina Noko,’ extends a warm welcome to Coach Seema. While Seema refrains from making any promises, he vows to bring his strong work ethic and dedication to Sekhukhune United and its supporters.
