President Cyril Ramaphosa has sent his well wishes to Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, who is currently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The President has been in contact with the Buthelezi family and has been briefed on the prince’s health condition.
The Presidency released a statement expressing the President’s prayers and heartfelt wishes for Prince Buthelezi’s speedy recovery.

In the meantime, the Buthelezi family has revealed that the prince was readmitted to the hospital due to complications related to a back pain management procedure. They have expressed their gratitude to the South African public for their prayers and messages of support.
