JOHANNESBURG — President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the appointment of Paul Mashatile as the Deputy President of South Africa, marking his return to the role he held in the sixth administration. This strategic move forms part of the President’s unveiling of the new cabinet for his current administration.
Paul Mashatile’s Return: A Continuation of Service
Mashatile’s journey as Deputy President began in March 2023, stepping into the role following the resignation of David Mabuza. His extensive portfolio in the sixth administration showcased his administrative prowess and dedication to serving the country. His responsibilities were multifaceted, encompassing crucial national interests and initiatives.
