PUBLIC NOTICE
INTENTION TO REVIEW THE FEZILE DABI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK (SDF)
(2026-2027)
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 20 of the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act 16 of 2013(hereafter referred to as SPLUMA), read together with Section 28 (3) of the Municipal Systems Act of 2000, Section 8 (2) of the Free State Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Bill and Section 4 (2) (a) of the Free State Generic Land Use Planning By-law of its intention to Review the Spatial Development Framework (SDF) of Fezile Dabi District Municipality as part of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
A Spatial Development Framework (SDF) is described by the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No. 32 of 2000), as a component of an Integrated Development Plan which municipalities are obliged to adopt as contemplated in Section 25 (1) of the said Act. The Spatial Development Framework is a long-term forward-planning strategic and policy framework that provides the spatial direction and development path of the municipality, and it is used to guide decision-making.
Interested and affected parties are hereby invited to register and as such will form part of the project during the different phases. To register please forward contact details to the below mentioned person.

VOORNEMENDE HERSIENING VAN DIE FEZILE DABI DISTRIKSMUNISIPALITEIT SE RUIMTELIKE ONTWIKKELINGSRAAMWERK (ROR)

Hiermee word kennis gegee, ingevolge Artikel 20 van die Wet op Ruimtelike Beplanning en Grondgebruikbestuur, Wet 16 van 2013 (SPLUMA), saamgelees met Artikel 28 (3) van die Munisipale Stelselswet, 2000 (Wet Nr. 32 van 2000), Artikel8 (2) van die Vrystaatse Wet op Ruimtelike Beplanning enGrondgebruikbestuur, en Artikel 4 (2) (a) van die VrystaatseAlgemene Grondgebruik-beplanningsverordening, dat die Ruimtelike Ontwikkelingsraamwerk (ROR) van die Fezile Dabi Distriksmunisipaliteit as deel van die GeïntegreerdeOntwikkelingsplan (GOP) hersien gaan word.
Volgens die Munisipale Stelselswet, 2000, is ’n RuimtelikeOntwikkelingsraamwerk (ROR) ’n kernkomponent van die Geïntegreerde Ontwikkelingsplan (GOP), wat allemunisipaliteite verplig is om aan te neem, soos bepaal in Artikel 25 (1) van die Wet. Die ROR dien as ’n langtermynstrategiese en beleidsraamwerk wat leiding verskaf en die ontwikkelings strategie van die munisipaliteit uiteensit. Ditdien verder ook as ’n riglyn vir besluitnemingsprosesse.
Alle belanghebbende en geaffekteerde partye word hiermeeuitgenooi om te registreer en sodoende deel te neem aan die hersieningsproses. Geregistreerde belanghebbendes sal deelvorm van die projek gedurende die verskillende fases.
Sluitingsdatum vir registrasie: 60 dae na plasing van hierdiekennisgewing.
