Johannesburg – The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has made a major leap in bringing South African football to a wider audience by partnering with Showmax and SuperSport to stream all PSL matches. This exciting development allows football fans across the continent to access the Betway Premiership and other major cup competitions such as the MTN8, Carling Knockout Cup, and the Nedbank Cup through the Showmax Premier League mobile streaming service.

Kicking Off the 2024/25 Betway Premiership

The Betway Premiership kicks off on 14 September 2024 with a clash between Royal AM and Cape Town City at the Harry Gwala Stadium, followed by the highly anticipated match between Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants. The champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, will begin their campaign on 17 September, facing SuperSport United. Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates, fresh off their MTN8 final appearance, will take on Chippa United on 18 September .
