The Free State Premier Sefora Ntombela will on Friday, 14 January 2022, officially handover the Vrede Dairy Integrated Farm Project to the 65 Verified beneficiaries , in Vrede , in the Free State.
The project was established in 2012, by the Free State Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rurual Development with the aim of empowering black farmers with knowledge and skill of operating a successful farming dairy enterprise, which would contribute immensely to the local economy and improving the livelihoods of its communities.
The handover of the project takes place in accordance with court order , which was promulagated from the 19th January 2019 to end in 17 January 2022 by the Free State High Court.
