The Fezile Dabi District Municipality has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of a panel of 10 law firms to provide professional legal services over a 36-month period.

• Compulsory Site Briefing: Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at 10:00 AM (Fezile Dabi District Municipality, Main Building, Sasolburg)
Evaluation Criteria (80/20 Preferential Points System):
• Experience – 20 points
• Capacity – 20 points
• Good standing with LPC – 5 points
• Administrative support staff – 5 points
• Fidelity Fund Certificate – 20 points
• Law firm registered with LPC – 15 points
• Hourly tariff – 15 points
• Minimum points required for further evaluation: 80 points

Bid Requirements:
Applicants must submit:
✅ Valid company tax clearance certificate
✅ Certified company registration certificate
✅ Certified ID copies of directors
✅ Proof of CSD registration
✅ Municipal rates/taxes statement or affidavit with landlord rates clearance
✅ Completed MBD forms (MBD 1.4, 6.1, 8 & 9)
✅ Company profile
Important Notes for Bidders:
📌 Bidders must attend the compulsory site briefing on 26 February 2025 at 10:00 AM.
📌 Sealed bids must clearly indicate the bid number.
📌 Bid documents will be available from 17 February 2025 at the Supply Chain Management Unit, Fezile Dabi District Municipality, Sasolburg.
📌 No late, emailed, or faxed bids will be accepted.
📌 The municipality is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
📌 Bids remain valid for 90 days.
