MANGAUNG METRO: UPDATE ON WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS IN THE CITY
Most of the areas which were affected by water interruptions are receiving water. The
demand is currently high as a result of the delay and this makes it difficult for filling of the
main line. As soon as the line stabilises, all areas that are still affected will receive water.
Southern areas of the city
Water supply will be restored fully within three hours in most areas. In places such as Chris
Hani, Turflaagte, Rocklands, Phelindaba, there will be pressure issues due to their
topographic level i.e higher lying area.
Northern areas of the city
Water supply has been restored in most lower topography areas, but high lying areas such
as Heuwelsig are still affected. It is expected that these areas will get water later today
