Police in Amalia, North West, are urgently requesting the community’s assistance in locating a missing 52-year-old woman, Kedisaletse Audrey Ditire, who resides at Extension 5, Ipelegeng. She was last seen on May 29, 2025, near the R506 road between Amalia and Christiana, and has been missing for over two weeks, heightening concerns for her safety.
Incident Details
According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), Ditire was last seen by her boyfriend, whom she visited on the afternoon of Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was reportedly on her way to a local store near Kgwejana Farm when she disappeared. Despite extensive searches conducted around local farms in the surrounding areas and follow-ups on all leads, the police have yet to find her.
Description of the Missing Woman
At the time of her disappearance, Ditire was wearing a black tracksuit with matching top and pants, paired with white sneakers. She is described as light in complexion with black eyes and hair, and has a small build, weighing approximately 60kg.
Police Efforts and Community Appeal
North West police spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburgh expressed growing concern, stating, “We are deeply concerned for Ms. Ditire’s safety and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Every piece of information, no matter how small, could be crucial in helping us find her.” The SAPS has been proactive in their search efforts, combing through local farms and pursuing all available leads. They have also utilized social media platforms, including posts on X from @SAPoliceService and @_ArriveAlive, to amplify their appeal and encourage community members to share any relevant information.
