MISSING PERSON ALERT| North West Police Appeal for help finding Rosina Masego Ditlhase

Missing : Rosina Masego Ditlhase

The Northwest SAPS in Letlhabile has issued an urgent call for the community to assist in the search for a missing teenager, Rosina Masego Ditlhase, aged 14, from Letlhakaneng village near Letlhabile. The young girl was last seen on the afternoon of Thursday, March 1, 2024.

Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani relayed details that could help in identifying Rosina: “She was wearing black jeans, a red and yellow T-shirt and a pair of black sandals. Rosina has a slender body structure, average in height and is brown in complexion with a visible scar on the neck.”

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still unclear, and the police as well as Rosina’s family are concerned for her safety.

Members of the public with any relevant information are urged to come forward and assist the police in their search. Detective Sergeant Nakedi Saasa of the Brits Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is the appointed Investigative Officer on the case. He can be reached directly on his cell phone at 060 970 9141.

The public can also contact the national Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 to provide information that might lead to Rosina’s safe return. In addition, anonymous tip-offs are encouraged and can be communicated via the MySAPS App on smartphone devices.

Lieutenant Colonel Funani emphasized the importance of community involvement: “The search for Rosina is a top priority, and we believe that someone out there knows something that could help us. We urge you to come forward and assist us in reuniting Rosina with her worried family.”
