Help Find Nanaki Baepi
The Odendaalsrus police are requesting the community’s assistance in finding Nanaki Baepi, a 49-year-old woman who was last seen on Friday, 08 December 2023. Nanaki was last seen leaving her house at Taljaard Street in Odendaalsrus wearing her night dress to go to the nearby filling station to buy bread and snuff.
Nanaki’s husband reported her missing at the Odendaalsrus Police Station on 09 December 2023 after not being able to locate her despite reaching out to relatives in Bothaville, Allanridge, Thabong, and Kutloanong.
According to Police Spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng, Nanaki was last seen wearing a night dress (gown) and had brown braided hair, one upper gold tooth, one lower gold tooth, and earrings. Witnesses have also reported seeing her at the taxi rank and Pick n Pay in Odendaalsrus CBD.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Lt Colonel Bennie Strydom of Odendaalsrus Detective Services on 082 301 2797 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Alternatively, individuals can use the My SAPS App to submit a tip-off.
