The MEC for Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs (DESTEA), Makalo Mohale, together with the Free State Premier, Sefora ‘Sisi’ Ntombela, will announce the newly appointed board of the Free State Development Corporation (FDC) on Friday, 18 March 2022.

The MEC for Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs (DESTEA), Makalo Mohale, together with the Free State Premier, Sefora ‘Sisi’ Ntombela, will announce the newly appointed board of the Free State Development Corporation (FDC) on Friday, 18 March 2022.

“For some time, the FDC has been receiving negative feedback and has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons. “ Said DESTEA in a statement.

“The Free State Executive Council, led by the Premier, has therefore taken a decision to appoint a new board to overhaul this important entity. “

“Our approach has been to appoint a collective of competent, dedicated, professional and skilled individuals to steer this ship towards being the principal economic development agency of the Free State.”

The briefing will be held under the following arrangements:
