“We therefore as per tradition of MBE we crowned 2023 Face of MBE Anneline Mathiba. We looking forward for the greatest growth with Miss Mathiba,” said MBE Chief Executive Officer Sibusiso Mhlongo.

Mathiba is the founder of #ProudAlbinism, which was launched on 28 September 2019.

She was born in Atteridgeville, Gauteng in 1990.

She also wrote and produced a Fashion Film called “A Daughter of Destiny” which talks about women and children with Albinism.

The annual gala dinner event has achieved immense growth and impact over the past two years.

The MBE used the event to impact and bring entrepreneurs, potential funders and corporate giants under one roof.

The event was attended by the Matlosana Local Municipality local entrepreneurs like Tshepo Mofokeng  from RemmogoBurials. Mofokeng took to the podium to share about his entrepreneurial journey and hopes with the audience.

Amongst those who have attended the event was president of Youth in Business South Africa, Sello Malinga; Film Director & CEO of Masiu Empire, Mpho Masiu; Masdu Beauty, MasduSedumedi; NAFCOC KZN CEO Thabiso Dladla; NAFCOC Johannesburg Secretary, Prince  Mbele; Life Coach, KhalelwayoMatlhanye.

Just when we thought the night was of growth the greatest writer & poet the legendary Wally Serote gave us the most greatest teaching of all time.

Moroeng Attorneys was amongst many attended. Not forgetting Mr Thabo Pelesane from TP foundation as our greatest MC and Programme Director of the night,” said Mhlongo.
