Fatal Stabbing

A 30-year-old woman has been arrested following the alleged fatal stabbing of her boyfriend in Dark City, Phahameng, Mangaung, on Christmas Day. The incident occurred around 20:31 on 25 December 2024.
Incident Details
According to Free State police spokesperson Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, Mangaung police received information about a murder at a residence in Dark City, Phahameng. Upon arrival, officers found emergency personnel attending to a 30-year-old male victim who had sustained a single stab wound to the chest. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Arrest and Investigation
Further investigation led to the arrest of the victim’s 30-year-old girlfriend, who was present at the scene. Authorities also recovered a possible murder weapon. The suspect is currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the fatal incident.
