The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Free State are planning to reveal their provincial manifesto this coming Sunday, with party leader Julius Malema taking the lead at the much-anticipated rally. Slated to occur at the Multipurpose Centre in Zamdela within the Metsimaholo Local Municipality, the launch is expected to draw a significant crowd as the red berets rally support ahead of the upcoming elections.

After a series of addresses across the country, with a noteworthy presence in Gauteng and Mpumalanga, it is now the Free State’s turn to hear the party’s vision directly from Malema’s mouth. Anticipation has been building, with supporters and political spectators keen to gauge the temperature of the party’s campaign and the radical policies they are set to propose.

The EFF has made no secret of its ambitious policy objectives, with a spokesperson affirming the party’s stance: “The EFF government will prioritise rebuilding of South Africa’s defense capabilities, prioritise primary healthcare, increase social grants, and fight for women to end gender-based violence.” Such declarations frame the red berets as a force for radical change, drawing both praise and scrutiny in equal measure.

The manifesto will be streamed live on all Central News Digital Platforms,” cites a post from the network, ensuring those unable to attend in person can tune in from the comfort of their homes.
