Deaths and Recoveries

59 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 0, Free State 5, Gauteng 20, KwaZulu-Natal 8, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 2, North West 0, Northern Cape 18 and Western Cape 6 which brings the total to 55 183  deaths. We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients, said Dr. Zwelini Mkhize .

The cumulative recoveries now stand at 1 523 243 representing a recovery rate of 94,5%.
