Kusile Power Station
Kusile Power Station’s Unit 4 has successfully resumed operation following its scheduled maintenance, providing an additional 800MW to the national power grid.
This achievement has resulted in a reduction in loadshedding by one stage, according to the statement made by Electricity Minister
In a media briefing on Sunday, September 17, Ramokgopa announced this significant milestone, highlighting Eskom’s commitment to restore the remaining units before year-end.
