[JUST IN] The City of Mangaung will today, 29 March convene a special council meeting at 10h00 to elect a new speaker, after the resignation of the council speaker, Stefani Lockman-Naidoo. The Metro council is expected to elect a new mayor and chief whip on Thursday, 30 March. Former executive mayor Mxolosi Siyonzana tendered his resignation after he was publicly criticised by ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula, for collapsing service delivery levels in Mangaung. #MangaungCouncil #freestatecentralnews Free State Central News
