Popular rapper and television presenter, Molemo Maarohanye, Popularly known as Jub Jub, was granted R10000 bail by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday. The charges against him include rape, assault, and attempted murder.

According to Gauteng police spokesperson Lt-Colonel Mavela Masondo, Jub Jub willingly surrendered himself to the authorities at Brixton Police Station following the arrest warrant issued against him.

The state did not oppose his bail application, and the court has ordered Jub Jub to surrender his passport, prohibiting him from leaving the country until the case is resolved.

Shockingly, this case involves four complainants, with incidents dating back from 2006 to 2010.

The court has postponed the case until 24-Aug-23, and this remains a developing story.
