The Office of the Free State Premier, Mxolisi Dukwana, has come under fire for incurring extravagant funeral expenses totaling R3,432,676.00 for the former Free State MEC of Education, Tate Makgoe.

In response, the EFF Free State has filed a motion of no confidence against the premier. The astronomical amount spent raises questions on fiscal responsibility and transparency.
