MBUZINI, MPUMALANGA – Police in Mbuzini have launched a thorough investigation following the startling discovery of a human skull near a local graveyard and railway line on Tuesday, 13 February 2024. The skull was uncovered at Hhoyi Trust, shocking the local community and prompting an immediate response from authorities.
The grim find was reported to the police by community members of Hhoyi Trust, leading law enforcement to the eerie scene next to the cemetery grounds. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the presence of the skull, situated disturbingly on the ground. To aid in the investigation, the police have collaborated with various stakeholders, including forensic experts.
An inquest into the circumstances surrounding this discovery is currently underway, as officials strive to uncover the origins of the skull. The identity of the individual to whom the skull belonged remains a priority in this puzzling case.
The police have issued a statement appealing for public assistance. “Currently, police are working hard to get the identity of the person whose skull belongs to, hence any member of the public with information that may assist in achieving this goal may go to the nearest Police Station or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111,” the statement read.
