Matome Chiloane to launch Gauteng Reading Festival
This Saturday, February 10, 2024, Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane will be hosting the 2024 Gauteng Reading Festival at Soshanguve East Secondary School. The event will bring together 320 learners from 20 schools and 2 Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centers.
The Festival is scheduled to coincide with #WorldReadAloudDay, which was observed on February 7, 2024.
In addition to promoting reading and literacy, the festival will feature interactive activities, storytelling sessions, and book giveaways for attendees.
The 2024 Gauteng Reading Festival is expected to be a memorable and impactful event for all participants and attendees.
