DJ Pots Mzwandile Sontyale

Free State-based soccer commentator and analyst, DJ Pots Mzwandile Sontyale, has boldly predicted that both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will secure 1-0 victories in their respective second-leg semi-final clashes in the CAF Champions League today, 25 April 2025. Despite both South African giants failing to capitalise on home-ground advantage with goalless draws in the first legs—Sundowns against Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly and Pirates against fellow Egyptian side Pyramids FC—DJ Pots remains confident they will rise to the occasion away from home.
In the first leg, Mamelodi Sundowns dominated possession with 74% but failed to register a single shot on target, while Al Ahly managed three attempts . Despite the lack of goals, the return of key player Themba Zwane from injury provided a boost for the team . The second leg is set to take place at Cairo International Stadium at 18:00 CAT and will be broadcast live on SuperSport Variety 4 .  
Orlando Pirates, on the other hand, played to a 0-0 draw against Pyramids FC in their first-leg semi-final at FNB Stadium . The second leg will be held at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo at 20:00 CAT, with live coverage on SuperSport PSL, SuperSport Variety 4, and SuperSport Maximo 2 .  
DJ Pots elaborated on his prediction, stating, “Even though Pirates and Sundowns didn’t score at home, they dominated the ball and controlled the pace. These are the best teams in South Africa and among the finest on the continent. I believe they’ll keep clean sheets and score decisive goals away.”
He further added, “Pirates have found rhythm in big matches, and Sundowns are always composed and intelligent in away fixtures. I’ve seen enough from both teams to say they can win 1-0 and go through.”
Fans can catch all the action live on SuperSport channels or stream the matches via the DStv Stream app. With both matches poised delicately, South African football enthusiasts will be eagerly watching to see if DJ Pots’ predictions come true.
