The MMC for Special Programmes and IDP, Dorris Masooane said the municipality should continue to give young women and men chances and expose them to such programs.
“As a young person myself, I am excited to see these kind of developmental initiatives benefiting the youth, young women in particular because most of our young women has so many ideas that can develop themselves and the broader society but we need to continue giving them chances and expose them to these kind of opportunities, said Masooane.
The municipality is impressed by participants who shared their business ideas and goals, which will contribute to the local economic development sector.
“I have never been so excited while noting that these young people are from the dusty streets of our townships and they are ready to plough back to improve economic conditions of our respective towns. This initiative fits perfectly in my portfolio of Special Programmes where we want to see many young people being economically active,” said Masooane.
