Eskom Loadshedding
Eskom has declared that loadshedding will be temporarily suspended due to the improved available generation capacity. The power utility made the announcement on Saturday, following the suspension of loadshedding from midnight on Friday until 08:00 today.
Eskom has attributed this decision to an improvement in generation performance and lower electricity demand. As a result, the company will reduce loadshedding to Stage 1 from 12:20 today until 16:00 on Sunday.
