Eskom Announces Sudden Return of Loadshedding

South Africa is bracing for another round of power cuts as Eskom has unexpectedly reinstated Stage 2 loadshedding from 5 am until 4 pm on Tuesday, January 2nd.

This will be followed by Stage 3 load shedding until 5 am on Wednesday, catching many citizens off guard.

The power utility had previously stated that load shedding would be suspended until Friday, adding to the frustration and inconvenience for consumers.
