Eskom suspends Loadshedding

Eskom has officially announced that loadshedding will remain suspended until next week Friday, January 5, 2024, ensuring no power outages for the New Year’s holiday. This decision comes as a result of a steady increase in available generating capacity.

The power utility has successfully maintained power supply since December 14, providing relief to households and businesses during the festive period.

Eskom has reassured the public that it will continue to closely monitor the power system and provide timely communication in the event of any significant changes.
