The Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command (EFFSC) has emerged victorious in the highly anticipated SRC elections at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits), defeating the Progressive Youth Alliance (PYA) consisting of Sasco, Ancyl, Cosas and YCLSA.
With an impressive performance, the EFFSC has secured a majority by capturing 8 out of the 13 seats available.
