The International Relations and Cooperation Minister of South Africa, Dr Naledi Pandor, will be hosting her counterpart from New Zealand, Nanaia Mahuta, on Friday, 5 August in Cape Town.
The meeting aims to discuss various important matters regarding bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to an official statement released by the department, the meeting will cover topics such as the situation in Africa, Ukraine-Russia, women empowerment, science, technology, nuclear disarmament, and United Nations Security Council reform. This emphasizes the importance of global cooperation and collaboration in addressing these critical issues.

Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1994, South Africa and New Zealand have signed nine agreements. To further strengthen their cooperation, the Ministers will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on bilateral cooperation.
The ties between New Zealand and South Africa extend beyond trade and tourism. The two countries have common interests in agriculture, disarmament, fisheries, environment, indigenous and human rights issues, as well as sports.
