Free State soccer commentator Mzwandile Sontyale, also known as DJ Pots, has voiced his concerns over Kaizer Chiefs’ current struggles, stating that head coach Nasreddine Nabi is not the right man to lead the club. According to DJ Pots, Chiefs should strongly consider bringing in renowned South African coach Pitso Mosimane, who is currently a free agent, to restore the club’s former glory.

“Nabi is Embarrassing the Club” – DJ Pots Criticises Chiefs’ Current Tactics

Following Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby, DJ Pots did not hold back in his assessment of Nabi’s coaching style. He believes the Tunisian tactician has failed to implement a winning strategy and that his tactical decisions are damaging the club’s reputation.

“Nabi is not useful for Chiefs. His tactics are not working, and he is embarrassing the club. This is Kaizer Chiefs, a team that should be competing for trophies, but under him, they are struggling to make an impact,” DJ Pots stated.

With Chiefs struggling to find consistency in the Betway Premiership, fans and analysts have questioned Nabi’s tactical approach. Some believe that the team lacks identity and that there have been no visible improvements since his arrival.

Why DJ Pots Believes Pitso Mosimane is the Right Man for the Job

DJ Pots believes that Pitso Mosimane is the perfect candidate to revive Kaizer Chiefs’ fortunes. The former Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly, and Al Wahda coach is currently a free agent, and many fans have called for his return to South African football.

“Chiefs should consider getting coach Pitso Mosimane to restore the club’s winning glory. Mosimane knows how to win; he has proven it at Sundowns, Al Ahly, and even in Saudi Arabia. He understands South African football and can build a strong, competitive team,” DJ Pots added.

Pitso Mosimane’s Winning Pedigree

Mosimane is one of Africa’s most successful coaches, boasting a track record of league titles and continental success. His tactical intelligence, ability to build dominant teams, and history of winning trophies make him a highly sought-after coach.

• 5x PSL Titles (with Mamelodi Sundowns)
• 2x CAF Champions League Titles (1 with Mamelodi Sundowns, 1 with Al Ahly)
• Multiple domestic cup trophies
• Success in Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Many believe that Mosimane’s experience in managing top African clubs makes him the ideal candidate to take over at Kaizer Chiefs, a team that has not won a major trophy since 2015.

What’s Next for Kaizer Chiefs? Will They Consider Mosimane?

While Kaizer Chiefs management has not indicated any plans to replace Nabi, the growing dissatisfaction among fans and analysts could put pressure on the club to make changes. If Chiefs continue to struggle, calls for Mosimane’s appointment may intensify.
