In commemoration of Youth Day, the Executive Mayor of Dihlabeng Local Municipality, Cllr Tseki Tseki, will be hosting a highly anticipated Youth Imbizo in Bethlehem, Free State. This empowering event is set to take place on Sunday, 16 June 2024, at the Bohkokong New Hall on Lomond Street, starting from 11:00 AM.
Empowering the Youth: Principal Objectives of the Imbizo
This special Youth Imbizo aims to enlighten and empower the youth by providing them with vital information on opportunities that can significantly improve their livelihoods. The event will serve as a platform for young people to engage with key stakeholders and gain insights into various developmental opportunities.
The Executive Mayor, Cllr Tseki Tseki, expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming event, stating, “This Imbizo is a vital step in recognising the potential of our young people and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in today’s world.”
Strategic Partnerships for Maximum Impact
The event is being organised in partnership with the Office of the Premier, the Department of Small Business Development, and the Free State Department of Agriculture. These collaborations are aimed at ensuring that the youth have access to diverse and valuable information on business development, agricultural opportunities, and more.
