Ngwathe Local Municipality has been grappling with persistent power outages since Monday, July 3, 2023, resulting in a significant number of Parys residents being left without electricity.
According to reports, the substation currently lacks the presence of electricians as they are unable to carry out their duties due to safety concerns.
