Central News announces the launch of the Free State Poll for the forthcoming 2024 National and Provincial Elections today. This initiative comes following the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa that elections are set to be held on 29 May 2024. As we embark on the Road to the 2024 National and Provincial Elections in South Africa, it is pivotal for the voices of our community to be heard loud and clear.
The Free State Poll is a significant tool designed to understand the political leanings and preferences of the Free State Province’s electorate. We encourage all eligible voters to participate in this poll, ensuring that their opinions contribute to the shaping of our political landscape.
Participants in the Free State Poll will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred political party as we gear up for the elections. The poll includes premier candidates and political leaders from the following parties:
- ANC, with Mxolisi Dukwana
- DA, represented by Dr Roy Jankielsohn
- EFF, led by Coach Liphooko
- ActionSA, under the leadership of Patricia Kopane
- Independent candidate, JJ Sesing
- Other
