The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially announced the fixtures for the Carling Knockout’s Last 16, with matches scheduled to kick off on Friday, 18 October 2024. Football fans across South Africa are eagerly anticipating the tournament, which will see top teams from the league compete for the coveted Carling Knockout title. The tournament will open with AmaZulu FC hosting Stellenbosch FC at King Zwelithini Stadium. This much-anticipated clash will be broadcast live on both SS and SABC at 19:00. Fans are already buzzing about this encounter, which promises to set the tone for the tournament.
Saturday’s Action-Packed Schedule

Orlando Pirates, one of the tournament favourites, will face Magosi FC at Orlando Stadium. This match is set for a 15:00 kickoff and will be broadcast on SS and SABC. Cape Town City will take on Royal AM at Athlone Stadium, also scheduled for 15:00. The day’s action will conclude with Polokwane City squaring off against Marumo Gallants at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 20:00, with both SS and SABC providing live coverage.
Sunday Fixtures Round Off the Opening Weekend
On Sunday, 20 October 2024, TS Galaxy FC will face Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium, kicking off at 15:00 on SABC. Simultaneously, Supersport United will take on Kaizer Chiefs at New Peter Mokaba Stadium. This highly anticipated match will draw significant attention as Kaizer Chiefs fans will be looking for their team to make a strong start in the tournament. The final match of the weekend will see Richards Bay FC battling Sekhukhune United at King Zwelithini Stadium at 17:30, with both SS and SABC broadcasting the game live.
