The ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in Gauteng has strongly criticized Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), labeling him as a “political opportunist”.
In response to Malema’s recent announcement that his party intends to dismiss Gauteng Crime Prevention Wardens, ANCYL Gauteng Leader Ntsako Mogobe asserted that the ANCYL will protect young people employed by the Gauteng government and will not allow Malema to terminate their employment unjustly.
During a welcoming address at the second leg of the ANCYL’s 26th National Congress, currently taking place in a hybrid session, Ntsako Mogobe expressed concern over Malema’s plans to expel individuals employed by Panyaza Lesufi, commonly known as “Amapanyaza.”
Malema cited alleged improper hiring practices, claiming that these individuals were appointed solely because of their affiliation with or support for the African National Congress (ANC).
