Kroonstad – The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) Regional Conference Preparatory Committee (RCPC) has announced newly elected Regional Working Task Team (RWTT) after having its induction workshop from the 7th to the 9th of September 2021.

This move follows its appointment by the ANCYL National Youth Task Team (NYTT).

The elected members of the Working Task Team are expected to execute daily duties of the ANCYL Fezile Dabi region;

• Buyi Sithole (Convener)

• Sylvester Sesing (Coordinator)

• Edgar Legoale (Fundraiser)

• Jackson Mthembu

• Disebo Taba

• Sedi Molupe

• Nthabiseng Tlhobelo

• Zandile Makhuba.

Meanwhile, Leeto Masela is appointed as the spokesperson and Noma Moloi as the organizer for areas of communication and operation.

Speaking about Local Government Elections, the ANCYL said they remain committed in encouraging young people of South Africa to vote for the ANC.

“It is under this background that the RCPC cordially calls upon ALL Young people to go in countless numbers and vote the ANC on the upcoming Local Government Elections,” said ANCYL RCPC Spokesperson, Leeto Masela.

Expressing their views about socio-economic, the ANCYL RCPC said is cognitive to the fact that Youth Development Offices (YDO) remains ‘strategic centres’ to organise Young people through responsive governmental programs (notwithstanding scarcity of resources).

“Thus, with dysfunctional YDOs, the humanity crusade of “Motjhapalong” aimed at placing Young people with adequate skills at the strategic positions of responsibility for the attainment of Youthful developmental state is dismally thwarted,” said Masela.
