Former South African and ANC President Jacob Zuma announced that he will not be voting for the ANC in the upcoming national general election.

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa responded on Monday to Zuma’s announcement by stating that everyone in the country is free to express themselves in relation to who they will vote for and why. He also noted Zuma’s decision and affirmed that the party is prepared to go as far as acknowledging his announcement at this time.

Zuma revealed that he will be voting for the Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) party in the 2024 election.
