ActionSA Names Kwena Mangope as North West Premier Candidate

ActionSA, a South African political party, has named Kwena Mangope as its North West premier candidate for the upcoming 2024 national and provincial elections.

The announcement was made by ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba during a media briefing in Johannesburg.

Mangope is a prominent figure within ActionSA, currently serving as the party’s North West chairperson. He has accepted the nomination by the party as the Premier Candidate-elect for the North West province. In his acceptance speech, Mangope expressed his passion for human development and the restoration of South Africa’s glory and pride.

During the briefing, Mangope acknowledged the challenging task of wrestling power away from the current ANC government in the North West. However, he highlighted the progress made by ActionSA in the province, citing the number of fully compliant branches and ongoing recruitment efforts.

Mangope emphasized that the 2024 elections will represent South Africans’ collective dissatisfaction with the current state of the country. ActionSA aims to provide a viable alternative to the failed ANC government. The party’s focus in the North West will be on improving the lives of all people, with specific attention given to those living in rural areas.

The North West province, despite its rich deposits of precious metals and minerals, remains one of the most impoverished provinces in South Africa.

Mangope criticized the current government for years of underdevelopment and the mismanagement of limited resources.

He highlighted cases of corruption, such as the stolen cattle worth R1.5 million, which were meant for emerging farmers.

Mangope assured the public that ActionSA will demand the return of stolen assets and prioritize the well-being of the province’s residents.

He outlined plans to address the lack of infrastructure, including water, roads, and facilities for children.

Additionally, he emphasized the need to restore the province’s rail network and rejuvenate the economy.

As part of Project 2024, ActionSA aims to fulfill the promises made during its inaugural conference, focusing on policies that promote prosperity and job creation.

Mangope pledged to reinvigorate the dormant industrial capacity in the North West and revitalize abandoned industrial areas, providing employment opportunities for the youth.

In his closing remarks, Mangope acknowledged the despondency felt by South Africans under ANC rule but urged them to have hope in ActionSA.

He emphasized the party’s commitment to ethical leadership, tackling crime, creating a conducive business environment, and running a clean and accountable government.

Mangope concluded with a motivating statement, stating that ActionSA will not give up until victory is achieved.
