Ace Magashule , Former ANC Secretary General
Former ANC Secretary General and Free State Premier, Ace Magashule, is set to make a highly anticipated announcement regarding his political future on Wednesday.
Magashule will be holding a press conference at 11am in Soweto, where he is expected to outline his plans for the future.
Magashule’s expulsion from the ANC in December was a significant turning point in his career, and since then, he has been a vocal critic of the ANC leadership. Many speculate that Magashule will use this press conference to reveal the formation of a new political party.

There have been recent accusations made by ANC secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula, who claimed that Magashule has been mobilizing party members to join his new movement.
Mbalula stated that messages calling on ANC structures to leave the party have been circulating, and it appears that Magashule has been working against the ANC.
In response to these allegations, Mbalula has mentioned that the ANC will issue a response once they have a clearer understanding of Magashule’s next move.
